Badger Maps API & Webhooks

Connect your systems to what's happening in the field

Badger Maps has an open API. If your team wants to build a custom integration that connects Badger to your CRM or any internal system, you can do that with your API key and our documentation.

  • REST API v2
  • JSON
  • Token auth
  • Webhooks
# Get list of accounts$ curl https://badgerapis.badgermapping.com/api/2/customers/ \    -H "Authorization: Token abcdefg12345678"[  {    "id": 1981653,    "first_name": null,    "last_name": "Aaron Kieke",    "original_address": "680 N Lake Shore Dr, Chicago, IL, 60611"  },  ...]

# Save new check-in for an account$ curl -X POST https://badgerapis.badgermapping.com/api/2/appointments/ \    -H "Authorization: Token abcdefg12345678" \    -d "customer=1981937&type=Drop-in"{  "id": 57249,  "customer": 1981937,  "log_datetime": "2014-01-24T13:32:22.179",  "type": "Drop-in",  "comments": "Met with client, follow up next week",  "created_by": "John Doe"}

How it works

Badger provides your API key. Your team builds, maintains, and supports the integration using our API documentation. We don't build custom integrations, but an Integration Specialist can walk you through your options.

What you can build

  • Sync new Badger accounts to your CRM as they're created
  • Log field check-ins as activities in your system of record
  • Trigger workflows when a rep visits an account
  • Pull account data, deal stage, custom fields, and last visit date into your reporting stack
  • Automate route assignment across your team

Build exactly the integration you need

Use Badger's API and webhooks together to create a fully automated, two-way connection between Badger and any system in your stack.

Incoming calls

API integration

API calls handle incoming actions to Badger. With Badger’s open API, you can:

  • Pull account lists
  • Log check-ins
  • Create routes
  • Update records

Managers can authenticate on behalf of their team, so one API key covers your whole operation.

Example response · POST /appointments/
{
  "id": 57249,
  "customer": 1981937,
  "log_datetime": "2014-01-24T13:32:22.179",
  "type": "Drop-in",
  "comments": "Met with client, follow up next week",
  "created_by": "John Doe"
}
Outgoing events

Webhooks

Keep your other systems in sync without constantly checking for updates. Badger sends an automatic notification to your system the moment any of these events happen:

  • An account is created
  • An account is updated
  • A check-in is logged

No polling or delays. Your system knows what changed in Badger as soon as it happens.
